Originally 1 bed, 1 bath | Converted to 2 bed, 1.5 bath

This was originally a very old, unrenovated 1 bedroom and 1 bath in a beautiful Art Deco building in Pacific Heights. When I saw it for the first time, I immediately fell in love with the sunlight, high ceilings, and open layout of the living room. Being only 900 sqft, I optimized the space to convert it into a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cozy condo. I worked with the HOA, a structural engineer and contractor to relocate the kitchen and create a beautiful open kitchen,dining and living space. The original kitchen was converted into a bedroom and the closet was turned into a half bathroom. Due to the limitations of the building mechanics, I kept the design very clean, elegant, and modern.
